Desde hace más de doce años, el pianista de jazz francés Elie Dufour forma un grupo de jazz acústico, EYM Trio, con el contrabajista Yann Phayphet y el batería Marc Michel. Llevan varios años de gira por todo el mundo, conociendo a grandes artistas y explorando nuevos enfoques en la música. Han desarrollado una identidad original tocando juntos en más de 400 conciertos. Han publicado cinco álbumes: Genesi (2013), Khamsin (2016), Sadhana (2018), Bangalore con la vocalista india Varijashree Venugopal (2023) y Casablanca (2024). Como transcripción en vídeo del estado de ánimo de la banda, EYM Trio trabaja en un proyecto paralelo llamado Nomad’ Sessions, tocando en cualquier lugar, en cualquier circunstancia y con casi nada, una webserie disponible únicamente en YouTube.

For over twelve years, french jazz pianist Elie Dufour has formed an acoustic jazz band, EYM Trio, with double bassist Yann Phayphet and drummer Marc Michel. They’re touring all over the world for several years, meeting great artists and exploring new approaches in the music. They developed an original band identity by playing more that 400 concerts together, that is quite a lot. They released five albums: Genesi (2013), Khamsin (2016), Sadhana (2018), Bangalore featuring the indian vocalist Varijashree Venugopal (2023) and Casablanca (2024). As a video transrciption of the band’s state of mind, EYM Trio works on side project called Nomad’ Sessions, playing anywhere, in any circumstances with almost nothing, a webserie available on YouTube only.
